Hi, I'm Emma, and I am the company director of My Hair Lady and owner of Cutting Edge Barbers.

I started my career at 16 by obtaining NVQ levels 2 and 3 in hair and beauty therapy  at Deeside College.

Since then, I have attended many courses to further my skills to bring the most up to date treatments for you at My Hair Lady.

At the age of 16, I never thought I would be a salon owner, manager, or employer of 8 team members. 

When I opened My Hair Lady, I was conscious of providing a relaxed and comfortable environment.  I hope you agree that I've achieved that.

Hello, I'm Julie and I have work at Cutting Edge for over 20 years.  Emma and I have been best friends for all that time. 

I started my carrier by attending Llandrillo Collage. There, I achieved hairdressing and barbering qualifications

I love to cut hair and choose to change direction and concentrate on barbering.  I still have lady clients coming to me at My Hair Lady.

I am a mother of two beautiful girls and a proud nanny to my gorgeous grandsons. 

My hobbies are natural wellness and healing.

Donna Rogers 

Senior Stylist 

I'm Donna and I have worked with Emma since tge day she opened My Hair Lady. 

I obtained my qualifications after completing and apprenticeship and one day a week at Carden Park. 

I belive having a skill is very important, I've had time away to bring up a family but returned to a excellent career that has never left me. 

I now work part time as a senior Stylist, my likes are cutting and styling, my strengths are perming as that is all we did when I first qualified.

I'm Vicki and have been at My Hair Lady for 8 years. 

I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing, mainly colouring and styling.

I am a mum to two boys and step mum to two boys and a girl.

Life is very hectic at home so coming to work is a chance for me to recharge. 

Catherine Lightfoot 

Stylist/ Colour expert 

Hi, I'm Catherine but only my calls me that when in trouble, you can call me Kate. I have worked with Emma for 6 years, we have a great friendship as we are cousins. 

I've worked as a hair and beauty therapist for 15 years and before I had my children I had my own salon in Wrexham. 

I love creating blondes and fashion colours on clients. I have completed advanced courses in Fudge, MATRIX and Quif.

One of my other passions is Hair Up and bridal hair. There's nothing more gratifying than seeing a bride glow as she is geting ready for her wedding.  

Amy Healy

Barber 

Hi, I'm Amy and I qualified as a Level 2 NVQ in hairdressing and Level 3 in barbering.

I  prefer to cut hair so chose to concentrate on gents barbering and solely cut mens hair at Cutting Edge Barbers.

I have lived in Mold all my life schooled here and am a mum to two beautiful girls.
